Beijin Benz Automotive Co Ltd (BBAC) is a Chinese automobile and commercial vehicle manufacturer - a joint venture between Daimler AG, Daimler Greater China Ltd and Beijing Automobile Works. In this project, batch production was to be made possible based on a preview. Due to the distance to the customer and the inability to complete and deliver the axles in time according to the sequence call-off signal for assembly, a concept was developed that decouples the automotive supplier's production from the OEM's final production sequence.
