Redesign of the Logistics Process for John Deere
In 2023, our client took over John Deere’s logistics center as the new operator. The goal was to make processes more transparent, digital, and effective. Since the takeover also involved a relocation, the client brought us on board right away.
Why nemetris? For one thing, we have the expertise to provide conceptual support for logistics processes and bring the right technology stack to the table. For another, thanks to our existing functionality and adaptability, we were able to move into implementation extremely quickly and map out a large number of special processes in a future-proof manner.
Together with our client and John Deere, the logistics and assembly processes were designed and ultimately implemented under tight deadlines. The go-live took place after just eight months. Since then, the expansion—including several enhancements and additional service scopes at the site—has been running smoothly.
The John Deere distribution center in Genk, Belgium, is now an impressive facility that supplies all John Deere dealers in Europe with the relevant products.

Our contribution: the digitalization of the entire intralogistics process—from goods receipt, warehouse management, material supply, and assembly through to shipping—including integration and data exchange with the relevant third-party systems.
