In Neckarsulm, nemetris supports a resequencing process for Audi with a JIS software solution designed to ensure process reliability and prevent errors. Approximately 40 different modules are controlled by the system in each vehicle, including door trim, floor mats, door handles, seat belts, rear shelves, rear spoilers, storage compartments, glove boxes, instrument panels, instrument clusters, mirrors, taillights, light strips, steering wheels, wheel wells, side sills, stone guards, door windows, and tailgates.

A particular focus is on assembly line supply: Goods are delivered to Audi from the racks in the correct sequence, delivery schedules are maintained in the system, and the racks are tracked within the software all the way to the customer’s assembly line via a mobile network. Touch-based user interfaces support employees directly in the process and create additional transparency in operational handling.

Due to the wide variety of materials and high availability requirements, operations are secured by nemetris high-availability support. The nemetris software runs in the customer’s data center.
