The project presented two fundamental challenges: on the one hand, a highly varied product and the resulting highly complex production landscape; on the other hand, the OEM's very short call-off times. This is where the entire nemetris JIT/JIS portfolio comes into play – with holistic logistics processing and integration at the shop floor level via direct PLC communication between several main and secondary lines.
