The components plant in Campinas manufactures various products/assemblies (including rear axles, door carriers, wheel suspension, control arms) for different OEMs. The project covers the control of the material flow from goods receipt, through production to goods issue. A warehouse system is used (storage and retrieval of material, replenishment control) that is fully integrated into SAP. Another requirement was traceability processes to control production, such as the washing process, paint process, repack process, rework, etc. The challenge in this project was to capture and implement the relevant production and logistics processes. nemetris implemented the solution using the latest web technology and integrated web-based tablets and scanners to map the production and logistics processes. Close collaboration with the customer's project team enabled all requirements to be specified and implemented in detail.
